WHAT TO DO IF YOUR PODCAST HOST DOESN’T SUPPORT PODTRAC

• If your current podcast host doesn’t seem to support Podtrac, email their support desk or submit a support form with a message such as this:

  • Can you send me directions to enable Podtrac reporting for my podcast?  Thanks!

• If they reply with lack of support for Podtrac, we suggest sending them a follow-up note such as this:

  • Please give me an easy way for me to add third party measurement such as Podtrac to my podcast, just as all of the major podcasting hosting companies do.  In the meantime, can you tell me how I can edit my podcast feed myself so I can manually add the Podtrac Prefix each time I post a new episode?  It’s important to me that I use a podcast host that gives me control over editing my podcast feed, including enabling me to add tracking when I post a new episode.  Thank you.

• If your podcast publishing company doesn’t support Podtrac and doesn’t enable you to edit your RSS feed, consider moving to a different hosting company that makes it easy to add Podtrac.
