The Top 10 Podcast Publishers ranking for August 2019 is now available at Podtrac.com.
Highlights of the ranking include:
Podtrac’s podcast measurement system is now certified compliant by the IAB Tech Lab with the IAB Podcast Measurement Technical Guidelines Version 2.0. This applies to both US Unique Monthly Audience and Global Unique Streams and Downloads listed on the rankings.
For August, all Top 10 publishers saw increases in US Unique Monthly Audience with biggest increases coming from iHeartRadio(26%) on the strength of new episodes of Ron Burgundy and other new shows and ESPN (23%) capitalizing on the football season and new content for 30 For 30.
Average US Unique Monthly Audience across the Top 10 publishers is up 17% in August over July and up 75% from August of 2018.
Note: As of April 2019, Global Downloads and Streams reflect updates to Podtrac’s measurement algorithm and are not directly comparable to months prior to April 2019. Unique Monthly Audience numbers were not impacted by this update.
