Today Podtrac released the first comprehensive Multi-Channel Podcast Ranking for the podcast industry, capturing the ever-expanding footprint of podcasting’s growing influence across platforms and formats, including:  

  • Audio episode downloaded on Apple, Spotify, and other podcast apps 

  • Video episodes viewed and streamed on YouTube and Spotify, and 

  • Podcast video clips played on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.  

Every audio and video podcast is considered for Podtrac’s new Top 200 monthly Mult-Channel Podcast Ranking.  

Highlights of Podtrac's Top 200 Multi-Channel Podcasts for December 2025 include:

  • Audio: 200 podcasts (100%) post audio episodes to RSS.

  • YouTube and Spotify Video:  128 podcasts (64%) post video episodes to YouTube, 44 podcasts (22%) post video episodes to Spotify.

  • Delivery Percent:  148 podcasts (74%) get the majority of their episode delivery in audio, and 52 podcasts (26%) get the majority of their episode delivery in video.

  • Podcast Clips:  130 podcasts (65%) post podcast-related video clips to Instagram, 110 podcasts (55%) post clips to TikTok, and 109 podcasts (55%) post clips to YouTube.

  • Podcast Clip Delivery:  73 podcasts (37%) get more podcast video clip delivery than podcast episode delivery.

  • YouTube Episodes vs Clips:  47% of podcast delivery on YouTube is for views of full episodes, and 53% is for views of podcast-related clips. (Neither stat is a measure of play duration.)
