Podtrac collects consumer information via various surveys it conducts at Podtrac.com and using a third party survey engine. This Privacy Statement describes Podtrac's privacy-related policies and practices as they relate to the collection and use of information gathered from these surveys.
Podtrac recognizes the importance of privacy to Internet users and is committed to assuring that the privacy and confidentiality of visitors to this site are respected and preserved. Unless you give us explicit permission, we will not share your personally identifiable information such as name, address or e-mail address with third parties for any purpose, unless required by law to do so.
Collection, Use, Disclosure of Information
Podtrac does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from respondents to our surveys. The information you provide is used for compiling anonymous statistics only and is not identifiable back to any individual.
Podtrac does collect PII from individuals who elect to participate in the Podtrac Panel after completing a survey. PII collected may include name, email address and phone number. Participation in the Podtrac Panel is optional.
Our site automatically creates logs regarding user sessions on Podtrac.com, such as features that you use, the actions that you take, and the information that you access. We generally use this information in statistical and aggregate formats to assess the effectiveness of our site and to better understand consumer priorities and interests.
Choice and Data Access
Survey responses are stored anonymously on servers operated by Podtrac and its contractors. This data is not accessible at an individual level for review or edit.
Podtrac employs industry standard security measures to protect the security of all data. Data stored on Podtrac's servers is treated as proprietary and confidential and is not available to the public. Only authorized employees and contractors have access to the data you provide and that access is limited by need. Our employees and contractors who have access to this data have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information.
Our Offerings are not directed to children and children are not eligible to use our Offerings. We do not collect or maintain PII (as defined below) from individuals who we know are under 13 years of age, and no part of our Offerings is designed to attract people under 13 years of age. If we later learn that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s PII from our databases and to prevent the user from using our offerings.
